This view on the meaning of life is a rather disheartening one I wrote a while back when I was in a more depressed state than I am now. However, I still believe it to be true.

Over the years, I've collected a number of quotes that I consider to be worthwhile. Some are truisms of life, others give very good advice, some are more sarcastic, sometimes they soothe wounds, and sometimes they're just fucking funny.

When I was in high school, like everyone, I sometimes would bitch about my teachers. As people I really never had anything against them... as teachers I didn't care for them. I don't mean this to offend them or anyone else, but at the time a little light-hearted laughter about it was a nice remedy for stress.

Here you'll find what my signature looks like. My decision to post this on my web page comes as a result of someone (but I won't mention that her initials are N.S.) making fun of it :-( You'd think that now, two years later, I would be over it, but I think in reality I carry considerable emotional baggage because of it.
